Ticket search not working in the staff control panel

Ticket search does not retrieve relevant tickets when using Advanced, Quick Search or Filters.

This topic provides a resolution to this issue.

Ticket search is used by the staff to search and find the tickets related to any subject, content or belonging to a particular user. To fix this, please perform the following steps:

  1. Re-index the tickets search from Admin CP > Tickets > Maintenance > Rebuild Search Index > Rebuild.
  2. Re-index the ticket properties form Admin CP > Tickets > Maintenance > Rebuil Properties > Rebuild.
  3. Rebuild helpdesk cache from Admin CP > Diagnostics > Rebuild Cache.
