Sending emails in bulk
Sometimes, might need to send emails in bulk, for example, general updates to all the end users. This topic outlines how to do that using GFI HelpDesk.
GFI HelpDesk has not been designed to send emails in bulk. Also, it is essential to highlight that sending emails without the proper authentication (SPFSender Policy Framework is an open source equivalent to Caller ID., DKIM, DMARC) or content may result in domain or IP addresses reputation to decrease and therefore been marked as spam or blacklisted.
However, there are two workarounds:
- Use the Bulk conversation API to create a bunch of conversations with the same content that sends out an email to the requesters.
- Use integration with an application like MailChimp that sends the email for you. You can use Zapier to set the integration up as it does not require any programming knowledge.
