Routes configuration

Static routes may need to be defined when access to external networks cannot be reached via the default gateway. This may be necessary so the appliance can connect to services such as DNSDomain Name Server or NTPNetwork Time Protocol.

Routing table entries are shown for IPv4 and IPv6 networks. The destination, gateway, interface, source and state is shown for each route. Routing table entries can have multiple sources:

A manually configured route.

Derived from the addresses assigned to an interface.

Assigned from SLAAC autoconfiguration.

DHCPDynamic Host Configuration Protocol

Assigned from DHCP autoconfiguration.
