Outlook Connector: Connection timeout
Issue encountered
Outlook Connector synchronization errors: GFI Archiver connection timeout.
Cause
The GFI Archiver server is busy and failed to send the required data in a specified time interval.
Solution
To increase the timeout value:
- Navigate to: <C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\GFI\MailArchiver\>
- Open GeneralSettings.xml using a text editor.
- Locate the TryConnectionTimeout element and increase the default value of 120000.
- Save and close GeneralSettings.xml.
- Restart Microsoft Outlook®.
