Error 4000 during authentication
Issue encountered
GFI Archiver fails to authenticate when loading the web interface with Error 4000.
Cause
This error occurs when another application is installed on the GFI Archiver server, which may be using the same ports required by GFI Archiver.
Solution
Use the GFI Archiver Port Change tool to check for port conflict and to change the port used if necessary. For more information refer to Using the Port Change Tool.
