There is no default email client
Issue encountered
When exporting PST files, the following error is displayed: Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook® and set it as the default mail client.
Cause
Microsoft Outlook is missing.
Solution
To export emails from a PST fileA file used to store local copies of email, calendar events, contacts and other items within Microsoft Office Outlook. using the GFI PST-Exchange Email Export tool Microsoft Outlook® version 2007 or higher must be installed on the same machine.
Install Microsoft Outlook® version 2007 or higher.
For optimal performance during the export process, we recommend using the latest version of your Microsoft Outlook® version by making sure you have the latest Microsoft Office® service pack installed.
