Edit group details

Edit details of existing groups from the Group Details screen.

NOTE

Only users that have been granted full account access can manage users or groups. To grant these permissions, add users to the GFI Administrators group.

To edit group details:

1. From the GFI Directory console, go to Mange > Groups.

2. From the Groups screen, click next to the Group to edit and click Edit Group.

3. In the Group Details screen, configure:

Option Description
Display name The name of the group visible in the list of groups.
Name A friendly name to identify the group.
Email Group email address. This field supports multiple entries.
Description Group description.
Group If the group is part of another group, select the relevant entry from the drop down list.

4. Click Save to apply all changes, Discard Changes to cancel changes made, or navigate to the Members tab to add members to the Group.
