Slow processing of emails
Issue encountered
Processing of emails is very slow, causing a queue of emails build up.
Cause
A number of anti-spam filters perform DNS lookups on senders' domains. This problem may occur when there are DNS issues in the network.
Solution
Check your DNS settings from the Anti-Spam DNS Server tab.
NOTE
Usage of Google DNS can cause this issue, as well as decrease the spam catching rate by certain filters. It is recommended to NOT use Google DNS (IPv4 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 or IPv6 2001:4860:4860::8888 or 2001:4860:4860::8844) with GFI MailEssentials.
