Using macros in ticket replies

Once one or more macros are defined in GFI HelpDesk, they are available to use when replying or forwarding a conversation.

To apply a macro to the ticket, follow the steps given below:

  1. From the Reply or Forward tab on a ticket, click the Macro dropdown on the Quick Insert bar.
  2. Search or scroll to the macro you want and click to select it.
  3. Review the changes to the ticket, and make any updates to the reply text you want.
  4. Click Send to update the ticket.
