Asset Tracking
Managing device assets is one of the most time consuming and intensive tasks that the IT department has to carry out in any organization. Where IT staff numbers are limited, this necessary task creates a massive manpower burden if it is not automated and centralized. GFI OneGuard uses the Asset TrackingAn inventory of the software and hardware installed in the network. service to make an inventory of servers and workstations across the organization. Machines running a Windows operating system that are connected to the network are identified by machine name and audited, listing hardware specifications for each device found and also installed software.
The Asset Tracking service is not a paid service and is available even if a GFI OneGuard subscription is not renewed.
